User feedback

This outage, hours before the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul match, filled users with anger and frustration. Many users shared their experiences on X (old name Twitter). This long-awaited match will take place on November 16 at AT&T Stadium in Texas and will be live-streamed on Netflix.

Netflix was down before too

This outage of Netflix, especially during such a big event, is extremely inconvenient for users. It is expected that the company will soon resolve this problem and normalize the streaming service. However, this is not the first time this has happened. Earlier last year on December 12, 2023, Netflix faced a major global problem, in which the service was disrupted for about three hours. The problem, which began at 5 p.m. (ET), left most users unable to stream video.

Desktop users were hit the most, while mobile and TV users were less affected. More than 20,000 complaints were registered on Downdetector at that time. Netflix called it a “technical issue” and announced a quick fix.
